The Evas' armor gives them each a distinct appearance. Like the Barons of Hell (Sub-Princes of the Infernal Empire). The first giant has a featureless face except for a single eye in its forehead. The second giant has a lone horn upon its head, and many gnashing teeth. The third giant has four eyes, two jaws and is the color of fresh blood. The fourth giant is the color of charcoal and has inhumanly long arms.

AT Fields or Absolute Terror Fields are the barrier around all minds. "The Light of the Mind," Kaoru calls it. It is what keeps each mind separate from the others. It is the barrier that prevents souls or minds from combining. It is the giver of independence. In the case of Angels and Eva's it is the sheild against damage. The Divine Barrier of light, only crossable by disrupting that barrier with another. It seems that the third impact as portrayed in episode 26 is actually the breaking down of all man-kind's AT Fields.

In Christian Mythology during the crusifiction of Christ, Longinus, a Roman centurion, peirced the sides of Christ with his spear. This is the Lance of Longinus. Notice that Longinus is not meant to be an adjactive in this case. It is the name of the man who once wielded it. Since the Lance has once before been covered in the blood of a dying god it has in it the ability to peirce the ATF's of any Angel or Eva easily. It has the blood of a god stained upon it, what does an Angel's blood matter then?

The Sephirot is the base of Kaballism. There are 10 circles contained by the Sephirot. 3 to represent body, 3 to represent mind and 3 to represent soul. Once these 9 have been achieved, the path to the final circle is opened. Being one with God, or becoming a God.

Seele is the controlling council behind Gehirn, NERV, and the Marduk Institute. They are the ones pulling the strings and playing the puppets. Everything that happens, until Gendou gets his own ideas, was according to the schedule (Probably better described as 'the plan') laid out in the Dead Sea Scrolls. 'The Human Instrumentaility Project' was their destination, and the scrolls, their map. Each Angel was probably sent by them, and Tabaris, the 17th, most definately was sent by Seele (Kaoru). Lorenzo Kihl. The man controlling Seele. He wants 3rd Impact to happen so that he may die. Kihl is the soul damned to wander the earth for all eternity, possibly Methusela. No matter his name, he wishes to finally die, and this is the only way. This is why he sends the Angels to Lilith, to cause Impact!

Lilith, of Jewish folklore, is described to be a Mesapotamian night demon known for destroying children. In the Talmud she was the first wife of Adam who refused to accept her subservient role. Adam rejected her, and God created Eve as a more obedient helpmate. Lilith is then said tohave copulated with Lucifer and his demons, producing hundreds of lilim, female demons, who became the succubi of both Jewish and Christian legend.
